I’m a thirty-something living in the ‘burbs, free world philosophizing about gentrification, urban sprawl, energy consumption, self sufficiency and continual education, social issues and all that other Sunday afternoon light thinking.

My family goes back several generations in this town, and here I am, ready to explore those roots. Call it an eco-energy-identity crisis.
